Dr. James Berry, DACM
Twelve years in practice. I came to this medicine through Tai Chi, Qigong, and a lifelong pull toward eastern philosophy. The treatment room became the place where all of it made sense.
I trained in classical lineage at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture and continue to study with senior practitioners. I teach this medicine to practitioners across the country. I still see patients because that is where the learning stays honest.
Over the years, my work has moved toward the mental and emotional layers. Trauma. Grief. The ways people get stuck and the quiet process of coming unstuck. I listen more than I talk. The medicine does its best work when I get out of the way.
I practice alongside my daughter. That has been one of the unexpected gifts of this path.
Dr. Devynne Berry, DACM
Second generation. Ten years in practice. I grew up watching this medicine before I chose it for myself.
I was a college athlete. I found acupuncture first through injury. Traditional Chinese medicine put my body back together. Then I experienced Five Element work and something deeper shifted. That is why I do this work. I know what it feels like when the medicine reaches past the physical.
I am drawn to people in transition. The ones who feel stuck but are not sure in what. The ones whose lives look fine on paper but feel flat. The ones searching for their spark. I also love working with kids, with athletes, and with veterans who have been failed by systems that do not know how to help them.
I practice alongside my father. Our training is shared. Our eyes are our own.

How the work unfolds depends on where you are and how you engage.
It always begins the same way.
In-Person Clinical Care
Acupuncture. Chinese herbal medicine. Constitutional work.
We practice in Kalispell, Montana, in the heart of the Flathead Valley. People come to us for pain, chronic illness, digestive issues, anxiety, insomnia, injuries, and conditions that haven’t responded to other approaches. Some come for support through transitions or grief. Some come because something feels off and they’re not sure what.
We take time to understand what is actually happening before we act. New patients begin with a longer initial visit. We talk. We listen. Treatment builds from there.
New patients begin with a conversation before scheduling.

Clinic Wisdom that Reaches Beyond the Treatment Room
Work with us. Our consulting offerings are designed for individuals who wish to access our work but are outside of our local area. Working through a structured partnership, rooted in constitutional insight, we help people who are ready to engage the world with more clarity, live more intentionally, and refine the way they are living.
The work is informed by years of clinical experience that extends beyond techniques or points. It draws on pattern recognition, clear seeing, and an understanding of how people actually change when attention, timing, and choice are aligned. Our time together unfolds through video conversations, simple practices, and steady support around the decisions that shape your life.
This is an ongoing commitment that asks for your willingness to do the work. It is not a single session or a quick intervention, but a sustained relationship that develops over time.
What emerges is not instruction, but discernment. Not answers handed down, but the capacity to move through your life with greater clarity and intention.
