Being of service | Cultivating Shared Wellbeing
For decades, I have witnessed first hand the opportunities in healthcare and attempted to help support the larger Western medicine system through various clinical, leadership and policy work. Our move to Montana provided me an opportunity to grow healthy roots, and with that a beautiful community working together to cultivate local shared wellbeing. You’ll see me in the Tea room, leading Mind-Body practices, supporting the behind-the-scenes of the acupuncture clinic, and out in the community working with a variety of non-profits.
If you get behind-the-curtain, you’ll likely appreciate my stacks of books as I navigate our entrepreneurial venture with the completion of my Clinical Doctorate as a Family Nurse Practitioner and expand our offerings at Jing Shen Healing Arts to include a western bridge for those that are looking for a safe, comprehensive medical home. I view myself as a Quality of Life specialist, and I have a special place in my heart for honoring natural transitions of life. Feel free to stop by the shop to chat, connect with me through the platform, and/or follow my personal journey on Instagram: @heartshapedcarrots.
Never take the heart out of it
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that finding true joy and living a life with meaning does not equal sunshine and butterflies! It is learning how to gain awareness, staying rooted within yourself, and leading with your heart to embrace all this life has to offer – including the ouchies. The beauty is we often notice more synchronicities and experience more choices when we embrace this approach over that of living in fear, numbing, or playing it safe. Embracing our shared humanity is essential as we grow and become empowered to make positive change in the community.
Mind-Body Practices | Offerings
Are you the kind of person who considers the benefits of yoga and/or meditation, but don’t see yourself fitting in a “typical” yoga studio? Then you found the right place! Currently, in-person offerings are limited to monthly Veteran & Military events and first Thursdays at Middle Path CrossFit. Have questions – reach out! I’d love to work with you to discover your goals and how we might be able to support you.
